동일한 조건 하에서 촬영하여 비교해 보았습니다.
I intend to compare the two photos that were taken under the same settings and circumstances with the sd Quattro + 30mm art lens and dp2 Quattro, respectively.

전반적으로 화질은 대동소이 하다는 것이 제 결론입니다.
My conclusion is that the image quality of those two photos appears to be "neck-and-neck".

다만, 30mm art 의 경우 DOF 가 dp Q 보다 약간 더 shallow 한 특징이 있습니다.
또한, 단점으로서 chromatic aberration 의 경우 30mm art 에서 좀 더 두드러져 보입니다.
It is characterized that the DOF of 30mm art lens looks a bit shallower than that of dp2 Quattro.
And, The CA of 30mm art lens reveals more apparent, which may be considered as a weak point.

AF 에 대해서는 30mm art 가 dp Q 보다 상당히 느린 편이었으나, 정확도는 확실히 높은 편입니다.
In terms of AF, 30mm art lens works more sluggish, but more accurate.

EVF 소문대로 평균 이하 입니다.
우려했던 좌목 습관은 금새 적응이 가능하더군요.
EVF, as they say, performs sub-par.
Regardless of some concern about Left-eye dominance, I can quickly adapt myself to using the right-located EVF.

종합적으로 디자인과 만듦새는 합격점에 해당됩니다.
Overall, the design of sd Quattro is fairly good and it is of fine workmanship.

SD1 Merrill 출시 때 가격 책정에 비하면 sd Quattro  착한 가격임에는 동의합니다. 배터리가 1 개 밖에 안들어 있습니다.
On the contrary to the stiff pricing of SD1 Merrill, it should be agreeable to the reasonable pricing policy for sd Quattro.
Unfortunately, only one battery is included among the basic in-box items.

그리고, 이슈가 되고 있는 sd Quattro 발열 문제는, 실내 28도 정도 환경에서 15 분 간 여러 장 계속 찍었더니 경고 메씨지 뜨더군요.
전원 끄고 몇 분 후 다시 켜니 정상 작동됩니다.
(user manual 에 보면 바디 온도 40도 넘어가면 경고 메씨지 뜬다고 나와 있습니다)
체온이 36-37도 인데, 보통 모든 카메라에서 연속 촬영 자주 하면 손에 열기가 느껴집니다.
그렇다면, 40도 또는 그 이상 발열된다는 것이기 때문에, sd Quattro의 경우도 발열 자체가 문제라기 보다는,
발열 경고 기준을 너무 예민하게 default 한 것이 아닌가 짐작됩니다. 이 부분 firmware 로 수정 될 수 있으리라 봅니다.
I experienced the warning message of overheating when I took dozens of consecutive shots for about 15 minutes.
I guess that sd Quattro should not have defaulted the warning temperature as low as 40 degrees.
Hopefully, this issue is supposed to be handled by firmware updates.


두 기종 결과물에 별 차이가 없다면, sd Quattro 의 경우 portability 면에서 불리; lens changeability  면에서 유리한 것으로 생각됩니다.
If there seems to be little difference in image quality between the two models of sd Quattro and dp Quattro,
it turns out that sd Quattro takes disadvantage of portability, otherwise advantage of lens changeability.
