I already reported that I expect new products to be announced in the 2nd or 3rd week of April. We are entering this period next week and there are already rumors floating around that we may see new products being introduced as early as next week (the one date I heard is April 11th but I am still not 100% sure). Nikon is already in their new financial year and I believe they have a lot of catching up to do. Here is a recap on what to expect:


Nikon D7500

Two or three new Coolpix cameras (P900 and AW130 replacements)

Probably two or three new lenses: ultra wide angle and/or a fisheye lens and a new Nikkor AF-P 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR lens (a total of five new Nikkor lenses are rumored to be announced this year)

Nikon D820 (I don't think we will see this camera announced now, but it is still a possibility)

No Nikon D750 replacement for now (maybe in late 2017 or in 2018)

Nikon mirrorless: two new models with "large sensors" could be introduced later this year or in early 2018 together with new lenses and adapters
