"So during our usual weekend beach volleyball game at Santa Monica this past Saturday — a man approached us and asked if the 2 on 2 set of us would be willing to “model” for an upcoming shoot highlighting a new camera.

지난 토요일 산타 모니카에서 여느 주말과 다름 없이 비치 발리볼 게임을 즐기는 동안
어떤 사람이 2 대 2 게임을 하고 있는 우리에게 다가와서 조만간 발표될 중요한 새로운 카메라의

Naturally I started asking some questions and found out the man was from Panasonic, and the camera was the GH2. I believe he said the camera will be released in Japan next month and then US in the late fall sometime.

I don’t consider myself much of a model or even that caliber of volleyball player, but i’m definitely going to check out the cam. I will try to get some stills with my iPhone and post them here along with any specs I can find out.

“..”The DP was from Japan and spoke little english, they arrived late from shooting motocross that morning (and not realizing driving on the 10 on a saturday weekend late is not a good choice) and so between the language barrier and them wanting to make up lost time, there wasn’t much technical talk going on. Then I tried to snap some pics with my phone and they weren’t too keen on that either. It wasn’t much a crew, just the DP and a set of sticks and two assistants.
