Optical Zoom Viewfinder framing for 9-135mm with parallax correction. Not used for focusing as in rangefinder.
광학 줌 뷰파인더는 9-135mm 범위(환산 18-270mm이겠죠?)를 가지며 시차 교정 기능(무슨 의미인지??)을 갖는데, RF 방식의 포커싱은 아니다.

AF System 1. Reflector arm from E-300 used to divert light to E-420’s AF sensor.
AF 방식 1. E-300의 반사경 지지대를 E-420의 AF 센서에 맞게 전환했다.

AF System 2. Contrast detect at image sensor as in E-420.
AF 방식 2. E-420과 같이 이미지 센서를 이용한 컨트라스트 AF 기능을 포함한다.

AF confirmation for manual focusing.
매뉴얼 포커싱을 위한 AF 컨펌 기능(초점이 맞았다는 것을 확인시켜 주는 기능인 듯)도 제공한다.

Exposure Metering: combination of reading at AF sensors and OM-4 style OTF reading off shutter.
측광 방식: AF 센서와 OM-4 형태의 OTF을 이용하여 읽어들인 정보를 복잡적으로 분석하다.

New LCD Info Panel: Continuously shows most important functions. Illumination turned on, when ambient light is low, by pressing any of the 4 buttons for changing settings.
새로운 상단 LCD 정보 패널: 가장 중요한 기능은 지속적으로 보여준다. 주변 광량이 부족하면 불이 들어오고(어두우면 LCD를 밝게 만들어준다는 뜻인 듯) 4 방향 버튼을 이용하여 설정을 변경할 수 있다.

New Lens Mount: shorter flange to image distance allows for Leica M or Contax G sized lenses. Electronic contacts compatible with Fourthirds when used with the supplied adapter.
새로운 렌즈 마운트: 라이카 M 렌즈나 콘탁스 G 렌즈를 장착할 수 있도록 하기 위해 더 짧은 플랜지 백을 갖는다. 전자 신호 체계는 포써즈와 호환된다. 포써즈 렌즈는 어댑터를 통해 이용할 수 있다.

Fully compatible with FL series flash units.
플래시는 FL 시리즈와 완벽하게 호환된다.

Same as PEN D-1, but the optical viewfinder and AF System 1 eliminated. The rear LCD folds out as in E-330. This compact model fits in coat pockets.

Pen D-1과 기본적으로 같다. 하지만 광학 뷰 파인더도 빠지고 AF 방식 1도 채용되지 않는다.) 후면 LCD는 E-330처럼 접힌다. 이 컴팩트 모델은 코트 주머니에 들어갈 수있다.
