Lumix G9 standard settings sheet
Straight from the box you will need to:

Use the Q Menu to:

Set Photo Style to Portrait
Set Quality to Raw, or Raw+JPEG
Set WB to Daylight
Switch ISO off Auto
Use the main Camera Menu button to:

Page 1 – Choose AFS or AFF (flexible)
Page 3 – Set how you want the Burst Shot 1 and Burst Shot 2 to behave
Page 4 – Set Silent Mode on or off
Use Custom Settings menu to:

Page 2 – Focus Switching for Vert/Hor, on or off
Page 2 – Loop Movement Focusing, on or off
Page 3 – Fn Lever Setting – default is Silent on/off
Page 3 – Dial Set, to switch on Expo Comp for the rear dial
Page 4 – Video Button set to off if you don’t shoot video. Saves accidental movies
Page 4 – Touch Settings, to switch on Touch Pad AF (use Off Set)
Page 6 – Lens Fn Button Setting to determine use of function button on lenses that have one
Use Main Setting Menu (spanner)

Page 2 – Turn off all Bleeps and shutter sounds
Page 2 – LVF Display Speed. Set to 120fps. It uses more battery but looks better
Page 2 – Night Mode – see what it does
Page 2 – Monitor Luminance, set to 1* or 2*, but don’t use Auto*
Page 3 – Battery Use Priority to nominate the first battery to use when the grip is fitted – in-grip, or in-camera
Page 4 – Double Slot Function. I keep it on default, but send JPEGs to one card and Raw to another if you like
Use My Menu Setting

Pick items to go in here. Try not to let this menu get crowded as it is supposed to be quick to use.
