The Nikon D810a DSLR camera was specifically designed for astrophotography and it was announced back in February 2015.

Nikon D850A Coming on Q2 of 2018

According to latest rumors surfaced the Nikon D850a is likely to arrive on Q2 of 2018. The Nikon D810a announced Feb 2015 and now discontinued. In general the Nikon D850a (D850 astro version) will going to be same as Nikon D850 camera with some modification to capture the comic clouds more neatly, technically modifying the infrared cut filter for the hydrogen alpha wavelength.
