For SIGMA sd Quattro users
Thank you for purchasing and using our products.
We released our new camera, the "SIGMA sd Quattro" on July 7th, and have received some inquiries stating that
the camera’s image sensor tends to show some dust in the images.
We are sorry for this inconvenience to our customers.
At the Aizu factory, our quality assurance has multiple processes to check and prevent dust, yet due to the
construction of cameras, to entirely eliminate dust during shooting is extremely difficult. The sd Quattro
incorporates an especially high resolution sensor compared to conventional models, and it is possible that dust
might be found on the surface of the image sensor during its initial stage of use.
For sd Quattro users, free sensor cleaning is offered regardless of the warranty period. In addition, when
the camera is sent for the cleaning service, there is no need for customers to cover the cost of delivery
within the year/s of warranty period.
[Cleaning Service]
For the cleaning service, it is recommended to return the camera body to your nearest authorized SIGMA service center.
We are going to give first priority to its after service.
For further information, please contact your nearest authorized SIGMA subsidiary / distributor.
